Cape Town (Durbanville) – Rondekuil
Rondekuil, in the Cape Winelands, about 10 minutes drive from Durbanville and 25 minutes from the Cape Town central business district, is positioned amongst rolling hills with breathtaking views of the Boland mountain ranges and Table Mountain.
Rondekuil is centrally situated making it an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area and the Cape Metropole, Cape Peninsula and Cape Winelands. One can enjoy fine accommodation, a wonderful lifestyle, take pleasant walks and observe many varieties of birds in a tranquil, supremely safe rural environment, while at the same time being relatively close to all the tourist attractions, excitement and scenic beauty that the Cape offers.
De Rondawel
This rondawel comfortably sleeps six and has a main bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom, and another two bedrooms, which share a family bathroom. The openplan kitchen, lounge and dining room area as well as the recreation room on the mezzanine floor provide adequate, comfortable space for entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped.
The large garden surrounding the Rondawel is fully enclosed so pets can be allowed to exercise safely in this area.
Manor House
The Manor House has four bedrooms, a large lounge, dining room and kitchen as well as two bathrooms. This is a comfortable old house with plenty of character.The Manor House has three enclosed areas: an extensive fenced in area leading off the back door, a side yard garden as well as an enclosed front garden, so there are a selection of suitable areas to enclose pets.
Leeulaagte Cottages
Each cottage sleeps four, while both of the bedrooms in each cottage, have en-suite bathrooms. The cottages’ kitchenettes have granite working surfaces and are adequately equipped. The cottages have reed ceilings and each one has a front verandah where guests can relax in an easy chair and enjoy stunning views while overlooking the pool, dam, a landscaped garden, farmlands and the river area.
The Leeulaagte Cottages do not have enclosed gardens.
PET POLICY: All dogs, cats, caged birds and any other well-behaved pets welcome all year round. Pets sleep inside – bring own pet beds and bowls. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and pets must be free of ticks and fleas on arrival. There is easy access to walks from all the accommodation units. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside the cottages or when not contained in the enclosed areas at the Manor House or the Rondawel. Guests must clean up after their pets and are required to pick up the poop. Consideration must be given to resident dogs, cats and farm animals. Pets stay FREE. Doggie Damages Deposit required: NONE.
