Cape Town (Fish Hoek) – Leo’s Den
Leo’s Den is a private relaxed and safe haven in the old fishing village of Fish Hoek on the South Peninsula of Cape Town. Super convenient for exploring Kalk Bay, Simonstown, Nordhoek, Penguins, Cape Ostrich Farm and Cape Point. Fish Hoek beach is a certified Blue Flag beach giving it international standing. It benefits from the warm Indian Ocean current making it perfect for swimming and all water adventures. The mountains of the Fish Hoek valley offer great hikes and exploring opportunities. Leo’s Den was opened in Dec 2016 in a fully renovated private home.
There are 4 rooms that all lead out onto the large outdoor pool area
- The twin cabin has two single beds and is at the pool’s edge. R500 per night. All year round
- A double room with a shared bathroom inside the main house. R550 per night in the winter and R650 in the summer.
- A double room with en-suite bathroom inside the main house. R650 per night in the winter and R750 in the summer.
- Single one person cabin R400 all year round
Leo’s Den is a shared house where guests have use of the whole house and can enjoy the lounge (has DStv) and kitchen, as well as the privacy of their room. For the comfort of other guests there are no TVs in the guest rooms.
A healthy breakfast is available at a charge of R50 per person or you can make use of the self-catering facilities.
Each room has Tea and Coffee and fresh brew coffee is available in the kitchen every day.
The owner (Antony) lives on site with a full-time House Man to cater to all your needs.
Leo’s den is a safe, relaxed home from home environment so arrive, kick off your shoes and relax.
PET POLICY: All dogs welcome all year round. Dogs sleep inside; bring own dog beds, bedding and bowls. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and must be free of ticks and fleas. Enclosed garden and easy access to beach and park walks. Please Note: the owner has 2 rescue dogs who are taken to the park or beach every day and playmates are welcome to join in. Dogs are free to wander in the back pool area and can also play there. If required by other guests, they are placed in a safe enclosed area. Consideration must be given to 2 resident dogs. Pets stay FREE. Doggie Damages Deposit required: NONE.
