Drakensberg (Swartberg Region) – Teddington Farm
Situated in the unspoiled Southern Drakensberg region of Mt Currie, Teddington Farm is dominated by the imposing Mt. Macdonald (2283m) to the east and the pristine Umzimvubu River to the west. The farm is 1400 ha and offers some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the region.
A true get-away from it all, back to basics experience that will leave you feeling rested and recharged. A place you will want to return to, again and again.
We offer self-catering cottages situated in the Swartberg region of the southern Drakensberg.
The cottages are fully equipped, with fireplaces, outside braai facilities and are serviced.
Teddington is a working farm, and as such all animals, land and buildings are to be awarded the respect they deserve.
Pet Policy: All dog breeds welcome all year round. Dogs sleep in kennels or in the units (not in the bedrooms or on the furniture), bring own beds, bedding and bowls. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Enclosed garden and easy access to walks. Consideration must be given to resident dogs, birds, horses, farm animals and wildlife. Pets stay FREE. No Doggie Damages deposit required.
Daily activities include spectacular hiking, tubing and swimming in the Umzimvubu river, trout fishing in the river and dam, motorbike, quad and 4×4 trails and game viewing.
