Pennygum has some of the most magnificent views in the Southern Drakensberg Mountains a World Heritage Site – and is set in peaceful, unspoilt surroundings in beautiful grounds with apple orchards. Our four cottages are perfectly equipped for self-catering. The owners Paul and Sarah Cooper live on site to give you their personal attention.
PET POLICY: All dogs welcome all year round but guests are asked to please arrange this before arrival, especially with large dogs, as all visiting dogs must be sociable and well-behaved. Pets sleep inside – bring own pet beds, bedding and bowls. Dogs are not permitted to sleep in/on human beds. Enclosed garden (shared with other residents) and easy access to walks. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside, and must be under their owners’ control at all times. Consideration must be given to four resident dogs and other guests (with or without dogs). CHARGE for Pets: R50 per pet per day. Doggie Damages Deposit required: NONE.
