Knysna (Rheenendal) – Nieu-Wherry Meadow
Rustic petfriendly self-catering accommodation situated on a lifestyle farm, on the edge of the beautiful Knysna forest, just 4km from Daleen Matthee’s 880+ year-old tree. This is where she wrote her famous books, Circles in the Forest and Fiela’s Child.
There is a lovely farm dam where dogs can cool off during the warm summer months as well as 3 hectares of fenced-in grounds in which to run. We guarantee that come nightfall, they WILL be tired!

Braai facilities and a plunge pool are available for guests.
Sorry, no wifi or TV – here we prefer to talk to one another and listen to the various sounds of nature.
For the human parents there are numerous forest walks, runs and mountain bike excursions.
Close to Jubilee creek and the Homtini MTB track.
Close to Buffelsbaai beach and halfway between Sedgefield and Knysna on the Bibby’s Hoek Road.
PET POLICY: All dogs welcome all year round. Dogs sleep inside; bring own pet beds, bedding and bowls. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and must be free of ticks and fleas on arrival. Easy access to walks. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside. Consideration must be given to resident dogs, farm animals and wildlife. Pets stay FREE. Doggie Damages Deposit required: NONE, but guests are responsible for any damages incurred by visiting pets.
