Montagu – Rainbow Glen
Rainbow Glen guest farm is located conveniently close to the Cogmanskloof hiking trails and has a splendid view of Kanonkop from all of the cottages.
We have 5 self-catering cottages accommodate between 2 to 4 people, each has a stoep with built in braai facilities and a basically equipped kitchenette for self catering. Linen and bath towels are provided. Please bring swimming towels. We also have two larger family units with full kitchen and TV with full dstv one sleeping up to 5 and one sleeping up to 8
Guests can enjoy the pool on hot summer days as well as a spacious lawn where families can play games or simply relax and enjoy the mountain view. Other activities include hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking.
Montagu is located on Route 62, the longest wine route in the world. Apart from wine-tasting on the numerous wine farms in the area as well as the Route 62 Brewery, there are many other activities on offer, including the quaint farmer’s market on a Saturday morning, the famous tractor ride up the mountains and the Hot Springs, only 5 minutes drive away.
PET POLICY: All well behaved and socialised dogs, cats, horses, caged birds welcome but must be specified/arranged when booking. Pets sleep inside – bring own pet beds and bowls. Pets are not permitted on the furniture and pets must be free of ticks and fleas on arrival. We have one chalet with an enclosed garden. The property is big and enclosed in its entirety but each chalet does not have an enclosed Garden but is perfectly safe for well trained dogs Guests must clean up after their pets and are required to pick up the poop. Consideration must be given to resident dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals other guests and children. Small charges if applicable and guests will be charged for damages.
