Aafrika Amazing Views is a thatched, private cottage with a large patio with beautiful views down the sea and over the Outeniqua mountains. It has a private garden fully enclosed with 1,8m fencing. It is situated in the quiet village of Hoekwil, Wilderness. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place for you.
Human guests can enjoy the beautiful sea and mountain views from their patio, braai deck and fully fenced private garden.
In the early morning, you may see bushbuck or honey badgers near the dam.
We offer Dstv compact package, a music player, books and games.
No wifi, sometimes we need to unplug.
Hoekwil Country Cafe has lovely breakfasts and lunches and reputedly the best cheesecake in the Garden Route! Skotteljons country restaurant boasts its own boereorkes, homestyle food and wonderful country atmosphere. There are wonderful walks on the beaches and in the forests, and canoeing in Wilderness National Park and Kaaimans River. Our area is famous for paragliding in summer. Many establishments also offer horse-ridng. If you are a nature person, this area is for you.
Pet Policy:
All dog breeds, cats and caged birds are welcome all year round. Pets sleep inside. Pet beds and bowls are provided. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Pets must be tick and flea free upon arrival. Enclosed garden. Easy access to walks. Consideration must be given to resident dogs, birds, horses and wildlife. Doggie Damagaes Deposit (refundable) R400. Charge for pets: R300.
There is a vet 10 minutes away in Wilderness village, and also a vetshop. Wilderness has a village green where pets can play with their owners. Beejuice restaurant is pet friendly. Pets may be walked on designated sections of Wilderness and Kleinkrantz beaches. Pets may also be walked in certain MTO forestry areas on a leash with a day permit that can be obtained from Bergplaas. Pets are also permitted in George Botanical Gardens. There is a 24 hour emergency vet in George
Scio Quantum Biofeedback Therapy is available for pets and their owners and have an animal physiotherapist available for pets.
